A school website has three audiences at once: parents considering admission, current families looking for information and authorities checking required disclosures. The structure must serve all three without becoming confusing.
The admission journey
The home page should quickly explain classes, board, location, strengths and the next admission step. Admission criteria, procedure, documents, fees or enquiry contact should be easy to find on mobile.
Academic and trust content
Include curriculum, methodology, leadership messages, faculty, facilities, activities, achievements and authentic photographs. Clear facts build more trust than generic claims.
Student resources
Syllabus, timetable, notices, circulars, results, holiday calendars and downloadable forms should be organised by year or class so parents do not search through long mixed lists.
Compliance and disclosure
Create a dedicated disclosure area for affiliation, recognition, certificates, staff information, infrastructure, policies and other documents applicable to the institution. Keep dates and files current.
Administration
A simple admin panel should let authorised staff update recurring content without editing code. Permissions and a content review process reduce accidental changes.
